In 2021, 92 Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) research projects (Excluding multi-year research projects) applied for by MCU faculty have been approved with a total subsidy of NTD 58,084,376. The analysis by Schools is as shown in the graph below.
To enhance the quality and quantity of MCU faculty's academic research and professional performance, Ming Chuan University awards faculty with outstanding research performance or contribution based on the MOST-subsidized outstanding talents project and Ming Chuan University Procedures regarding faculty research awards.
In 2021, 115 Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) research projects applied for by MCU students were approved. The analysis by Schools is shown in the graph below.
Students participating in MOST research projects, upon being reviewed by MOST as having outstanding results and creativity will be awarded with a MOST research creativity award. Nationwide, only 200 projects are thus awarded annually. In 2020, 4 MCU students have been recognized with this honor.
